Day 16
Today was the big day of Holly & Libby’s christening!! I have been very nervous about today, why I don’t really know, its probably more of an excited nervous.
So B and I got all dressed up in our posh clothes, did our hair and make up and headed of to pick bezz up, we all looked very nice if I say so myself. Then off to church in Newton On Ouse. We had a great day and I think everyone enjoyed. Christenings are one of those funny things where you’re just not sure how they are gonna turn out. The whole “church thing” going on all of us standing there saying things with our fingers crossed, and for me as god mother I felt a fake. But I do believe that I would always do the best by my god daughter and be there for her whenever she needs me as I would any of my friends or my children and i think thats what is important. If we all looked out for one another a bit more and wound our heads in, just maybe the world would be a better place, who knows?
